Formalities Arrival: Prior permission should have been sought from the Ministry of Lands to enter the harbor. On arrival telephone Customs (Moji) on 332-8349, ask that they visit you and fill out a General Declaration form. This is a closed port. Please note that the entire coast from Fukuoka to Shin Moji is monitored by Moji Radio an arm of the Coast Guard.

Customs: Customs on 332-8349. After you have filled out a General Declaration form ask that they accept a telephone call for departure.

LPG: Available, however, non Japanese tanks are difficult to refill due to Government safety regulations. Ocassionally, some gas resellers will fill your tank, especially if it is a small family owned establishment.
Marine Vendors: There are a few minor items stocked in the marina office.
ATMs: As always the most efficient way to get money from your overseas account in Japan is through the Post Office system of ATMs. A Japan Post office is in Moji City
Shops & Markets: There are no stores around the marina. A few stores can be found on the way to the bus stop that takes you to Moji City. Moji City has fair facilites
Postal Services: Postal Services are in Moji City
Hotels & Restaurants:
Internet/Phones: See "All about the Internet in Japan" on this Blog. Marina office will arrange local calls. Coin operated international 'phones are available in Moji City.
Laundry Services: No facilities.
Air/Sea/Road Transport: Several ferry services operate from Moji Port and a major international airport is located in Fukuoka.
Special Notes: Extensive medical facilities are available in Moji and Fukuoka. Several clinics are available some 10 minutes drive from the marina.
Other Information: This is another very isolated marina.
