Menominee Cruise Day 2

14 August 2010 | Menominee, MI
Cap'n Kenny
I was up by 05:30 hours this morning sipping on my coffee. The sun was starting to rise out over the Bay of Green Bay. There was some cloud coverage to our east so the sun rise was not spectacular. I did take a couple of pictures though. Some of the other boaters from our club was up by 07:00 hours.

It started out as a hot and humid day with very little breeze. Barb set up a small table on the wall along the boat, plugged in an electric frying pan, and cooked breakfast. Dick set up an umbrella so she could set in the shade.

Today was the main attraction that brought us to Menominee, the Menominee Antique Car Show. One of our club members had entered his 1927 Dodge Brother's roadster. We had a front row seat where our boat was docked.

Barb and a few of the other admirals caught a ride to the grocery store with the daughter of one of the boaters. Later Barb and I caught a ride to the liquor store with one of our local friends in Marinette. After returning, I hooked up the small refrigerator under our wet bar to cool off a case of Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss Beer.
