Ahhh .... The Ditch (9Nov 17)

Left Joe's Bayou and entered the ditch. How do you describe a furrow cut in the swamp with the mud heaped up on the sides with barely enough room
for two large vessels to pass each other ... relatively devoid of visible life (not even an alligator! The answer is easy.... a ditch. Stayed at Harrison bayou for the night just a short distance from Panama City. A little open to the North but a comfortable night. Woke up in the morning to dolphins making their breakfast rounds. Continued on to panama beach to the Bay Port Marina. Spent 2.5 days, nice place but alas there was another West $ Marine. . After having replenished the supplies, we left on Nov 19. This took us down another ditch not much better than the previous ditch to White City , with great docking facilities. Perewinkle ll , Twice AS Nice and ourselves had a wonderful Happy Hour . This to povide relief from the impending cold night which we would endure...
