I look back to our short trip from Mangrove Cay to Great Sale Cay and think of the wildlife, only two birds, one far enough off to distinguish it as a gull and the other a tern which flew right at the boat. I looked up and his eyes were jet black saying in no uncertain terms, your going the wrong way. Didn't know that at the time. All held together in GSC and it was an eyeopener.

The next day was a complete and extreme change ,12 to 15 knot winds sailing wing on wing heading east, with a fanfare and welcoming committee of about a dozen dolphins playing in a the bow wave. They left after a few minutes (bored with the small bow wave). At this point, we knew we had finally arrived in the Bahamas.
