17 January 2011
As told, we ran down wind to Spanish key arriving around 5 pm A pleasant evening with Sue and Dan who manage the resort. The next morning we checked through customs and then Dan took us on a tour of the island. The island is selfcontained, and owned by one person. We left Spanish Key and arrived in Green turtle after taking on some diesel, non to be had in Green Turtle. We arrived at black sound, booked for the week and proceeded to enjoy the town of New Plymouth and the quite of the Marina. A bargain at today's prices. met a number of Canadians. Sunday morning we left for Treasure key and the Sea of Abacos. We went through the pass behind whale Key (no rage today) without incident. The sunwas shining and the color of the water in the sea of abaco was well,.... incredible. As we sit here in the Harbour, a sea turtle (photogenic remains close , bye for now
