With steve back on board we had a nice night in Ibiza, and opted to sail round to San Antonio,to escape the extortionately expensive marina fees(70 euro for 1 night) in Marina Botafoch, which we renamed!!!! Steve was enjoying the sunshine, and the 35 degrees heat, so he helmed most of the way so he could top up his tan.. We got 12 miles along the coast and spotted a nice anchorage. We went in and saw there was a bar by the beach. Suits us sir.. So once anchored, into the rib and a nice cold beer ashore. They were serving paella which we hadn't had yet in spain ,so we had that for a late lunch. Followed by a traditional Ibethian coffee. Fabulous out of the way place. Had a long walk to find the nearest supermarket, where john returned to the rib to pick us up off the beach. Fun getting in it, and steve got quite wet!! Back on board we had sundowners and chatted the night away. Up early in the morning to dive into the beautiful clear water. Refreshed and a quick shower up on deck, we set off. A wonderful motor sail, if there is such a thing, around to San Antonio. Picture...Wonderful restaurant , La caleta.
