finally an update!
I certainly haven't been very active on this blog since bringing Shearwater to Auckland nearly 3 years ago. She is still in Auckland and has been gradually upgraded, with new electronics, new canvas work etc. Sailing so far has been around the Hauraki Gulf and up to the Bay of Islands every summer. I am planning a trip to Tonga in March next year so currently doing work on the boat to prepare for this.

the beginning
This is the start of my blog on "Shearwater", a Morris 40 Ocean Series yacht shipped into New Zealand in December 2012. I am currently upgrading the equipment on the boat and getting her ready for the summer and sailing around the northern coast
