Made it through another day! The ususal - breakfast for 9:30, 5 dozen eggs, a million sausage, etc. etc. Lunch is the easiest meal of the day and then there's dinner (with grocery shopping in there somewhere). At the groccery store, we've been asked if we're having a big party, do we run a day-care, or some other question re our 2-3 cartloads of food. We can't believe how hungry these athletes are ALL THE TIME! Bill barbequed 30 steaks and I roasted 10 pounds of potatoes, made 2 large salads. Gone in minutes! Bill and I planned to go out to eat tonight - good thing as there was nothing left. Tomorrow we have the whole day off. Yippee!! The kids only have one short (but strenuous) training session in the morning and then they are hosting a barbeque for some paddlers from another club in the afternoon - they do the cooking. Not sure what we will do yet but I'm sure we'll get away somewhere for the day.
