Shine brings home 2cnd in her class, thats the good news, the rest of the story is that there were only two boats in our class, oh well what can one do.

We had a great game plan based on the weather and tides we had while making our plan, and for the first half of the race it was all good, until the returning tides and increasing winds, this is where our tactical plan began to fall apart, and our race day was to be a long one.

In any-case we had fun and met some really excellent people upon our arrival.

We thank the coast guard for checking in with us to make sure all was well, and we apologize if we caused any concern for anyone, the VHF was up full but was not herd over the high winds and waves, until a crew member went below.

The steak & salads were quite tasty too, a good race and weekend.
