S/v Elin and captain and crew are about 400 nm out from the coast of Brazil and are heading for Fortaleza. Josh and I were in Göteborg today for an ACT test for College and spent some time in the botanical garden after his 5 hours ordeal. Right there, he got a call from Kenny in the Atlantic Ocean asking how it went. Technology is fantastic!
I just spoke with the marina in Fortaleza alerting them that Elin is coming. Her engine doesn't want to start, so they will need assistance in. Which will be the third time during our circumnavigation. First time in the Caribbean -no motor, second in Mauritius -no steering, and now no motor again. Normally it goes just fine and it seems that the marina in Fortaleza is well prepared to meet them.
