Steve
OK....so I know I've been pretty slack on the blog posts lately. It has in fact been pointed out to me by several people in the last week just how slack I've been. Yes, people are wondering if I've become lost at sea, or maybe I'm in a Mexican prison or worse yet, I may have lost the use of my typing fingers. Please rest assured that I'm safely in a marina here in La Cruz. That fact of the matter is that now that I'm not out on the high seas risking life and limp, there just hasn't been that much exciting stuff to blog about.
My good buddy Frank was here for a one week visit, of which most of the time we partied like rock stars (guess I could have blogged about that) . Frank and I did a couple of overnight road trips, one to Puerto Vallarta, and one to the cool little surfer town of Sayulita (pic).
Other than that I've been relaxing in near perfect weather and enjoying all of the various entertainment and dining options that La Cruz has to offer.
One of the reasons I decided to get a marina slip for a month here was to be able to have a few electrical issues addressed. It's pretty amazing that for the last month I've been put off and put off...and put off some more by a marine electrician here in La Cruz. Yes, I've now spent a month sitting here waiting for the F&*#ing electrician to show up, and so far the only thing he's come up with is a new excuse every week as to why he can't make it this week.
So Tuesday I'll be leaving La Cruz and heading over to my old stomping grounds of Paradise Village, where I've already contacted another marine repairman to take care of what I need.
Well I think thats about all....told you it wasn't that exciting. But hey at least I'm not in a Mexican prison, and anyone that has seen me type, knows that I had already lost the use of my typing fingers.
