Marina Coral

Steve
While checking in at the Marina Coral I was given a rate for a 1 month stay ($550 USD) that was less than I would have paid for 8 nights. Since I wanted to hang around Ensenada for a week or so anyway I decided to pay for a month....I can always leave earlier if I want. Marina Coral is a modern resort/marina which is located about 3 miles north of downtown Ensenada. There are many amenities here, including very nice showers (very important after a 2 week Baja Bash), indoor and outdoor pools and Jacuzzis, laundry facilities (also important after bashing), and a complete gym which I don't have to pay extra to use. They also have a shuttle that runs to San Diego and back every Friday and Monday.
The other day I went in search of a nice place to have a brewski and watch the sunset, I found this cool little beach within a 5 minute walk from my slip. The people here are also very friendly and helpful. The majority of the other tenants here have either already gone cruising or are on their way to go cruising, in both cases there seems to be more of a humble attitude than some other areas I've been (just saying). I'll be taking the shuttle up to SD on Friday to visit with friends and do some important things like start looking for a car and getting a cell phone. Well...better go hit the gym now, wasn't able to pump much iron on the bash.
