Yes, I have been (very) derelict in the blog department lately.
So, what does this title mean? Well, about 6 weeks ago we received the okay from our insurance company to be farther north during Hurricane season. We figured this would give us more options, and it does.
Fast forward to approaching Rodney Bay, St Lucia, about 3 weeks ago. I had another "I've been thinking" moments that I shared with Ken. The thought was to stay in St Lucia for hurricane season instead of going farther south. And that is what we are doing, and where we are.

As it so happens, our insurance brokers were recently bought out, and we have a new company, too. We don't have any restrictions for where to be (except never Haiti, Venezuela, or Cuba at any time) with the same deductible as we previously had before asking for the extended area. Works for us!

St Lucia also gives us direct flights to Toronto for an excellent price, so a trip back for a visit is also planned.

So, we are dock dwellers for this season in St Lucia. We are already building a network of friends through Ham radio, with Ernest bringing us large quantities of plantain.

More details of what we have done since the last blog post will come up, but I figured that you should know that we are, indeed, alive and what we are very generally doing.
