Santa Maria to Cabo

16 January 2011 | Cabo San Lucas
Ed Quesada finally warmed up in the 70's
We arrived at Cabo at 11 am after a smooth overnight trip in flat water with very little wind.
Did not catch any fish, even though we had five trolling lines out. I guess no one else has been catching fish!! No fish tacos tonight, unless we buy them at the Office Restaurant on the beach.
We got into Cabo Marina, got fuel and water and offloaded our garbage and went outside to anchor in front of the Office Rest. and the Mango Deck Rest.
We plan to spend a few days here to resupply and then head over to Puerto Vallarta (La Cruz).
Everything on the boat is working great and I am amazed how little fuel we have used, even though we motored a lot. We motored all the way from Santa Maria to Cabo on 15 gallons. We are running the engine at 2400 RPM doing 6.5 to 7 knots. Got to go, lunch is ready.
