Isla Partida to Los Muertos

21 November 2010
We caught up with So Inclined in Isla Partida. We went to a really nice anchorage and later in the evening our "friends" from the loud party boat dropped their anchor right next to us. Jeez, another night of loud music? Are we being stalked or what? But the music was shut off early and we were able to sleep.

The wind howled all night but the anchorage was well protected and the water fairly calm. We left at 7:00am to go back south to Los Muertos. Los Muertos will be our jump off point for the passage to Mazatlan. We had a great sail. Two hours straight we averaged over 8 knots. Good wind and flat seas. We sailed almost the entire 53 miles.

The plan is to do the crossing to Mazatlan on Tuesday.
