Lobster and Fish Fest

22 May 2011 | Timbabiche
We sailed all the way from Agua Verde to Timbabiche, mostly under spinnaker. The winds were light and we were only doing 5 to 6 knots but didn't have far to go. Right after we anchored a fisherman came up and asked if we wanted some fish. We "placed our order" and within 2 hours had 3 live lobsters and a fresh sea bass. Bob cooked it up and it was delicious. No one else is in this quaint little anchorage.

We ripped the leech of the mainsail when we doused it. The poor sail is on its last legs. I hope it holds together for the trip home.

We've started to make plans for the bash back home. I sold my boat guitar to another cruise which gives us more room in the hanging locker. It's really awkward to store. It looks like we will leave Cabo at the end of June hoping to be home by around July 10th.
