We left La Cruz Friday, December 15. We went across Banderas Bay, and saw two Blue whales really close to our boat. On night watch Kelley saw trails through the bioluminescents made by dolphins traveling alongside the boat. On dad's birthday, Saturday the 16th, we docked at Barra Navidad at the Grand Bay Hotel's Marina at 10:10, the time he was born.

The hotel in Navidad is spectacular, as you can see from the picture. It is a five star hotel and we can use the facilities. I (Kelley) am thinking I would like to come back to it. We had a very good dinner in one of the restaurants. We swam in the pool, which had two cool waterslides, hiked the gardens, gathered shells and played with hermit crabs, feisty little things, on the beach, and did six loads of laundry; all of these things felt very luxurious.

We leave here anout the 19th to go to Ixtapa, a 36 hour trip. We will meet Lisa, Doug and Aaron there for Christmas.
