Check In
23 October 2012 | Mexico
Weather is here and its nice
Check in went well today. The agent (Jonathan) took us to immigration and did all the paperwork for us. It took about 1 ½ hours. Then he took us to the Telcel office to get out aircard. I should have it installed tonight. Check in cost about $150 and 1 gig of data on the telcel modem cost about $40. We then went to a little outdoor taco place and had a couple of beers and some lunch. We spent the next couple of hours walking around and avoiding the vendors. We were propositioned with everything from sex to weed. Welcome to Mexico. Mike is feeling better and I think we are still on for leaving mid-morning tomorrow. I am getting ready to dive on the boat to clean the eel grass from the prop. The plan tomorrow is to sail 20 to 25 miles off the coast. Since Mike is with me as an extra set of eyes, we don't need to go as far offshore. That way if we want to duck into Turtle bay or Mag bay we can. Or if it get snotty we can head off shore and ride it out. Weather forecast looks good and we should be in for a smooth sunny ride down Baja. I will upload some pictures tonight.
