HOT HOT HOT
Enjoyed our stay in Cabo, time to move on... We will be setting out this evening for Mazatlan (40 hours away) at about 5:00pm. Weather looks like calm seas with little to no wind.
We got excited to leave so we set out at 3:30pm and decided to sail up the coast to Punta San Jose before we turned out into the sea of Cortez. We were on a beam reach doing about 5 knots. We sailed by San Jose around sunset and made our course correction for Mazatlan. We needed to slow the boat down so we would arrive around 8:00am (two days later). It was a quiet crossing, no boats, clear skys, and very peaceful.
