Heather
Well I guess this is record delinquency on the blog- sorry! We did make it out of Gibraltar all stocked up and it only took us 9 hours of motoring to get out of the Straits! Our slowest speed bucking the current was 1.9kts- brutal! But once we rounded the corner after sunset and started heading down the Moroccan coast overnight the current became in our favor and we had a flat calm trip to Rabat, the capitol. After a few days of exploring the area and getting ourselves organized, we set out on a 2 week road trip around Morocco with a rented car. We are about halfway into it and are having a wonderful time. The overnight Sahara desert trip was a highlight and now I want a camel.
I have tons to say but can't find the time yet to sit down and write it all out. But I will, and will post a bunch of pics too. Stay tuned..
