Nov 21st. Escondido. This morning Kathy and I go with Mary and Dave (Airops) and Wendy (Wendaway) to Loretto. It was a wonderful day. We hit the farmacia (pharmacy) and grocery shopping and looking in all the shops. We had some fantastic tacos at El Rey Tacos. This is where the locals go for tacos. Now it was off to the fishing store where I purchased a pocket fish scale that goes to 26 pounds. Now it is off to the gourmet store (Dali) that is where I got the 1 ½ inch pork chops, Earl Grey tea and even pepperoni. Now we head to Juarez market for some grocery shopping. On the drive back I arranged for all of us to have happy hour ashore. We had a great evening. I even went to the restaurant to sign up for a week of internet because we are in a no cell zone so the banda ancha does not work. All is good.

While I was out with the girls, Russ took the ATN Top Climber and hauled himself up to the top of the mast to lube the "T" fittings. T fittings are where the diagnol stays connect to the mast. Now with that complete he grabed the book "Fate is the hunter" and began to read.
