Dan told me about the bread that Lisa makes and I asked to have the recipe and Lisa brought the book over. It is called "Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a day". I liked the book so much I typed out a few recipes to try later. No kneeding necessary and is a wet dough and can be refrigerated for 14 days. Now that sounds good to me.
Today is February 9th and Lisa came to show me how to make this no kneeding recipe. I made two loafs and put the rest in the fridge in a non airtight container for use later. The loaves are fantastic. The texture and taste is very good.
Today is February 10th and I used the last of the dough to make Cinnamon Rolls, and head to the market for fruit, pork molida, and chicken and of course a bottle of wine and Ice. It was a quick trip into town due to the pending storm that is supposed to hit sometime today. While I was working on this blog we heard a kid crying and went out to check on it and found a kayak with three kids in it and one in the water and the kid in the water was crying. Russ made the kayak turn around and pick up the kid. Then two of the other kids jumped out and started swimming to out boat. One of the kids made it and Russ made the Kayak turn around and pick up the other kid. Now all kids and kayak are hanging on to the boat and asking for water, which we gave them then they asked for comida (food) and Russ said no. I asked them "donde su casa" (where is your house) they pointed straight across the estuary and then started to paddle away toward their house.
