Living With Sand

Every evening we take our small broom and sweep off the entry way where the ladder and the deck meet and back to the cockpit so the deck will not be slick to walk on. Since they have started working on the starboard (right) side of the boat the sand is everywhere. The winds seem to be predominant west wind which is from the starboard (right) side of the boat. Last night we had to sweep the bow shade cover off in order to open the hatches to let the heat out. Since the boat has to be kept closed all day it gets up to 87 degrees inside and not survivable without fans and even then it is hard to not sleep. It is going to be a major vacuum job to get the sand off.
