The daily routine here is to get up feed the fur kids and fix a cup of tea and head to the front / side lawn to enjoy the morning with a book or laptop. The mornings here are real nice. There are only two residential properties on this street and my brother owns one of them. All the other property is commercial. The part of the yard that has grass is "L" or "7" shaped, depending on how you look at it. He has a huge cherry tree that shades at least a quarter of the yard all day. The fur kids love it. They can play the chase game. Lucy has discovered that the sprinkler is her best friend. She runs up to it, lays down under and tries to bite it. She is definitely our water dog. Taco on the other hand will walk a mile around a drop of water.
We are hanging out waiting for doctors' appointments. The other night we got great news. His biopsy came back as negative for prostate cancer and we were also told that there is no lung cancer. We are so grateful for that. We still do not know what caused the hypercalcaiema and kidney dysfunction but we are eliminating a lot of the really bad diseases. We are going to the kidney doctor on Tuesday to make sure his kidneys have stabilized and on Aug 31st he has an Ortho appointment to be evaluated for hip replacement. He has is getting excellent care with the VA the only complaint is it is slow to get in for an appointment.
