Ok all, look back through the posts dated back until 1/10/14. I put up a bunch of pictures for you all. Hope you enjoy them. All is well. Its good to be back in the Bahamas. We are finaly slowing down no more preparing. Acept for two seasick crew the crossing was great. We were able to sail all but the last 35 miles of 160. Once we got on the Little Bahama banks it was a nice smooth fast sail. Josh was out with me enjoying a great night sail and a sky you cant see anywhere else. After Treasure cay we anchored at the south end of Guana Cay for two nights. It was nice we found a little tiny rocky island in the cut withe a little beach on each side. We swam and snorkled, Josh is doing great with his mask and snorkle. I found a good size conch in about six inches of water at the beach so we had conch fritters for dinner. We came over to Marsh Harbor yesterday to sit out a strong front going through and get laundry and shopping done. We are probably going to hope town in a few days. Then we must decide if we push further south to the Exumas or just hang out in the Abacos for a few months. We will see.

We arrived in the Bahamas on Thursday the 6th at 11:30am. Mike went into Green Turtle Cay to clear us in. Then after lunch we took the kids in for ice cream. The crossing was not too bad. Josh stayed outside with Mike all day and he pretty much stayed in his seat. He was a little lethargic from a half of dramamine. I took one but it was too late. So I got sick a few times and was down for most of the day. Bradleigh got nothing because her doctor said not under 2. She got sick. She threw up 5 times or so. Once all over Mike, twice all over me and the other two times on me and the sleeping bags, blankets and pillows. Little kids do not give much warning. She was pretty happy right after she threw up so it must have made her feel better. It always makes me feel better. I was able to finally stand my first night watch and let Mike get some sleep. I brought Josh out at midnight to see the stars and phosphoresence. He had told Mike he was going to stand the midnight watch and he did. Neither of us could get him back to bed until 3:30am. So Mike got about an hour and a half of sleep. Then Bradleigh woke up and was up for 3 hours. Mike told Josh it was kind of boring just sitting keeping watch and Josh said fishing is not boring so they threw out a line and just before we came onto the Bahama Banks they caught a Mahi Mahi. We got about 12lbs of fish from it. Josh said it was a little sad for the fish that we killed it but it was not sad for us because we get to eat it. Josh and Mike have been doing a little snorkeling. Josh loes it and is a little scared all at the same time. Bradleigh and I have been swimming and collecting rocks and shells. She loves to dig in the sand . But her favorite thing is to collect stuff, and anything will do. She fills up her hands with rocks, shells, sticks, leaves, flowers or trash until she can hold no more. Then we spend lots of time waiting while she tries to pick up more and drops what she has and then tries to pick it all back up over and over. Mike says be careful shoveling don't hurt your backs and tell the kids not to eat yellow snow. Sorry for all the typos and no pics but I did this on the kindle.

The boys are enjoying a quick rest in the shade while they wait for Bradleigh and I to catch up.

Now that we are all cleared in we can all go to shore and stretch our legs. As the sign says "Green Turtle Cay Welcome"
