Fun in La Paz
16 November 2010
Having a great time in La Paz. Starting to dial things in--both boat and lifestye. Typical day: warm and sunny. Run into folks on the way up the dock and shoot the breeze. Maybe a boat project in the morning (anything longer than that is by definition a multi day project;). Maybe government/paper work and some provisioning (luckily all our paper work is all done for now so more more time for fun). And moe fun--lots of things: exploring La Paz, dinner and/or happy hour with freinds (old and new), laying out at the pool, -- and even baking cookies.
Kelly, who came down from Oregon with her dad, George, on a Cal 27, Sea Chaser, heard we had a oven and came over to bake cookies. We had a bast.
Life is good in La Paz. We are here a couple more days. Hoping to get in on the Baja 1000 finish celebrations tomorrow, a Ha Ha party Thursday, and then head out for what looks to be nice anchorages at Isla Espiritu Santo for a few nights before heading back to Los Meurtos and then crossing to Mazatlan around Thanksgiving.
