Out & About Maputo

Locally known as the ferry, we know it as a floating coffin.
We spent a few days here, going to town and trying to find the museums. What we did find was closed so not much culture to experience other than what we saw as we walked around. There did seem to be a general look of neglect but some parts were being revitalized. We managed to get diesel and some more water. The anchorage was okay but at times the wind would come up and make it choppy. This led to challenging times getting in and out of the dinghy. At least it calmed down at night to make the stay tolerable. We finally found a weather window that we hoped would be sufficient to get to Richards Bay. But all in all it was a very enjoyable stopover.
