Day 10
06 January 2015
Gina & Paul
Not much has changed. We have settled on a sort of routine which helps both of us get some regular sleep. Unfortunately, we have had to intersperse motor sailing with sailing, as the winds have been very light. When we look at the position of some of the other in the fleet, we realize we are not the only ones. I guess this may now become a race of who motored the least. We have been given a cut off date when we have to reach St Helena (or automatic disqualification) so we are hoping to meet this deadline. The seas have been very kind to us and we continue to BBQ every second day, shower on the back of the deck without sliding off, do laundry and the other mundane tasks of keeping the boat tidy. Still, stepping onto solid land is starting to look rather appealing. 640 miles to go.
