St Lucia

19 March 2016
Rodney Bay Marina Complex
After a few days we sailed down to St Lucia, a pleasant day sail. We stopped at Rodney Bay. This was a large bay with plenty of room for anchoring with a grand marina and many waterside home. It seems that if you loved the Caribbean, this would be a great place to stop and settle. Most of the shopping around the marina catered for expats. We were reluctant to spend too long here as it has a history of petty crime against yachties. But we did spend a couple of days, living a very civilized life. This is another island with lots of rain and some peaceful rain forests.
