Passage from Bahia Los Muertos to Mazatlan

09 January 2008 | Mazatlan
Steady 15-20 knot breeze
Left La Paz yesterday to anchor in Bahia de los Muertos for the night. On board we have two Mikes Ben and I plus the two ship's dogs.

The passage couldn't have been nicer. After filling in in the morning they ranged from 15-20 for almost the entire trip. There were plenty of stars at night. by mornig and our arrival however it wqas thick and gray, not what one would expect down here below the Tropic of Cancer

Arrival in La Paz, Mexico

This is a cutter rig with all sails roller furling. There are 4 oversized anchors. Onboard there are enough solar panels to manage most electrical needs, but a generator rests below. The liferaft is located in the cockpit for easy access.
