Start of Leg 3 Baja Ha-Ha

07 November 2007 | Bahia Santa Maria, Baja California
A little hazy but warm and comfortable
Left for CSL early this day. Winslow, Sedona Lynda and Peter aboard. Santa Maria was very nice and would be a good place to return. I was humbled by the surf and trying to get the dingy into shore without wmbarrassing myself or chopping off fingers with the propeller. The dogs take all the wetness as great fun. Started out close to see the opening of Magdalena Bay. It is very impressive and would be a nice place to return. The dogs are finally getting their sea legs. They havve gone up to two days without going to the bathroom at all. That seems to be a typical problem with boats with dogs aboard in the fleet.
