Mom
After months of anticipation Sora set sail loaded to the gills with enough provisions to sustain Cassie, Terry and Wayne for 3 years. Mom didn't realize their first port, Roatan, was only a 7-10 day sail. The perfect weather window blew in with a weak front Friday after a hastily arranged Bon Voyage party Thursday evening at the Pennsacola Beach, FL, Yacht Club. The somewhat impared crew scurried to complete last minutes details Friday and was off before noon Saturday, 6/03/06, on the first leg of their planned circumnavigation.
