We had an amazing sail yesterday. The waves had settled dramatically and the wind was 15 out of the ESE. We were hitting 8's and 9's wht whole day. At that rate we would have been in Panama in 2 & 1/2 days. The sky was unbvelievably bright so we shut down the ship lights and had almost philosophical conversations. Today we had a small shower about 11 AM and are trucking along at 6 kts. I keep fighting for AC and the boys keep knocking me down...they better remember who keeps them fed! We have 443 miles to go till Colon and, while it's comforting to be back at sea, we're all anxious to meet other cruisers and explore the country of Panama.
