Are we there yet?

In a few hours we will see land for the first time in over 18 days. Fatu Hiva is rumored to be the most beautiful island in the marquesas. There are virtually no facilities there, including a port captain, and local authorities look the other way when cruisers arrive. They thankfully give us soggy bottoms a couple of days to acclimate and explore. Next, we venture to Hiva Oa or Nuku Hiva to check in the country.
We must set our clocks back three and a half hours. Not three, not four, but three and a half. I have never been to a havsies time zone before. Cool.
I cannot bloody wait to blow up my kayak again and get more than 50 feet away from my father. I'm sure he's feeling a bit of the same.
Land ho at any minute now...
Cheers to everyone who made this trip with us Cass
22.5 miles to go!
This is a headless pic of me on watch...packing my ipod. What? you get bored sometimes, ya know?
