Rangi is a great place thus far. We went for a bike ride today across the island. There is 6k of beautiful scenery of the laid back small town type. We checked into the gendarmarie and got a Tuamotos stamp on our passports. Woo HOO! It was quick and painless as could be, yet father was quite put out by the formalities and had to wear his grizzly bear face. I say grizzly, he thinks George Clooney.

ahhh-to travel with your dad.

We had steamed wahoo and a green salad for dinner. So choice! Our propane is on the fritz and rather than blow Sora up we figured we'd keep it simple. Fresh produce is riduclously expensive here and dad was only able to relax and enjoy his meal after venting about being raped my the veggie stand man.

We are laying low pre-Tahiti and plan on staying here for another week. The beautiful stretch of land is all but singing, "come on cassie, don't you want to run?". Yes, lovely island, as a matter of fact, I do.
