Cass
Can you tell which one's the real Johnny Walker? Hmmm? Good. We
accidentally got into our duty free stash ahead of schedule and much
like kids filling the parents vodka bottle up with water we replaced our
scotch with tea. Ha! Customs will never know the difference, right?
Right. That's cause they never came on board to check. Dern. All that
crafty tom foolery for naught.

The last few days in Luganville were our busiest. We made some new
friends and had the first get together on Sora since mom left. Fish
cakes and beef curry were on the menu-the beef here is excellent. I've
never seen such happy cows. We went and swam in a beautiful blue
hole-an inland freshwater spring that's as clear as air. We also dove
on the Coolidge! I keep wanting to call it the Oriskany, but this big
ol ship wasn't sunk on purpose. We did a morning and an afternoon
dive-both fantastic. There were loads of fish and we saw a cannon in
one of the cargo holds and fuel cells for aircrafts in another and
jeeps an yet another in addition to many other random cool sunken shippy
artifacts. It's been ages since I've scuba dove last and I'm happy to
know that not much has changed for the layman. I'm sure there has much
advancement in the scientific research field, but any Tom, Dick, or
Sally can still take a week course, strap a tank on their back and go
swim with the fishies. If you aren't certified, do it. Breathing
underwater is brilliant.

We are a couple of days out of Vanuatu on our way to the Lousiades if
the weather holds or directly onto Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.
The moon is fat and I just finished my 2am-5am watch. We've had
following seas and have been wing on wing surfing downwind since we
left. The wind has died down a little and shifted abeam. Hopefully
this pretty weather holds, but I got a feeling we'll be seeing some grey
the next few days. We are now leaving the Pacific, our home for almost
the last two years, and entering the Coral Sea. Cool.

Cheers to all you sneaky scotch drinkers,
Cass
