Letter from Mark KD1LDP
20 February 2011 | Storms River
Constance and Windbird arrived in Richards Bay around 10 am this morning (Sunday). We both made the passage with no major problems and we attribute that to the good weather reporting that kept us out of harm's way. We thank you so much for your special attention to our passage weather on the radio and for sending the emails. We will definitely call you when we plan to be in Port Elizabeth. We would love to meet you and give you the Madagascar honey and vanilla we bought for you. We will be here in Richards Bay for the month of November and then sometime in December we will be looking for a window for heading south to Cape Town. We'll keep you posted as things unfold.
Thanks again for all of your help. Ed wanted me to tell you that he tried to get on at 0630 Zulu this morning and again this afternoon, but he could not hear you. Once we have cell phones we will call so you will have our numbers. Thanks again for all your help.
Best Regards from the Captains and "Admirals" of S/V Constance and S/V Windbird,
Mark and Judy & Ed and Lynne
