First Inspection Outta The Way!

Welcome! This is Day 1 of the Spellbound Pacific Cup 2012 blog. We have about a month and a half to go to the start of "The Adventure of a Lifetime/The FUN Race to Hawaii" and there's still some preparations and practices to go.
Yesterday the inspection went pretty smoothly: we hoisted the trisail, storm jib and attached the spare rudder none of which gave us any grief tied to the dock as we were. There were a couple of other minor issues around the boat which didn't seem to get the inspector too concerned. Mostly dealing with replacing the wooden plugs and size of the anchor among others.
