Work day

03 July 2012 | Grand Marina
J2/clear
With 18 days till the start the To Do list has really crystalized! This past Saturday the crew got together and put in about 30 man hours installing and repairing various items. Hendrik took care of various leaks. Bob and Nathan worked on wiring the mast with Nathan spending the better part of the day aloft. I cleaned the Diesel tanks and David readied the bulkhead for the new instruments. Nico and Diego who are not going this time around but are planning on doing the Pac Cup in 2020 mastered Infinity Blade on my iPad.

There's still some work to be done which hopefully we'll get done during this next week.

All the work is being done while Spellbound is on the hard getting a bottom job and getting her keel repaired. Somehow the trailing edge got separated from the rest of the keel - not fast. Sorry no pics.

Hendrik put together a meal plan and food shopping list which makes me wonder where we're going to fit all that food on the boat! I'm envisioning 2 Costco carts piled high. And I can tell someone is a big fan of hot dogs and sausages since they're mentioned at least 5 times on the list!
