(from Nathan) Every day, standings are computed based on positions at 0800. After yesterday's disappointment (losing 1st place division standing to the Antrim), we pushed hard. While we think we had a pretty good run (211 nm), we don't actually find out how good it was until 1000 when checkin over SSB happens because this is the ultimate grading on a curve. It's not even like some other sports in which you can compare a performance to previous results (records, competitor times, etc.) because this weather- as well as performance-dependent. So, we'll just sail along in suspense for another two hours...
