(from Bob) So, I just got 10 gallons in the tank and it overflowed. So all together I added 15 gallons and we used that tank for 31 hours. Seems to be .5 gallon per hour fuel consumption.
At the end of my 3PM to 6 PM shift we crossed a band of clouds from clear sky no wind to clear sky with wind. We got the reef out and the #2 up and were able to sail for 2 hours before the wind died down and the need for speed started the engine.
It was nice to have dinner with the motor off. Scott cooked squash, garlic mashed potatoes and chicken thighs in onions. Very nice meal.
