Bonafacio 3

C&C
An early trip to the boulangerie the next morning meant breakfast included the obligatory croissants and we spent the morning trying to find a French SIM card for our dongle without success.
When we left at around midday the wind had got up and we had a great sail back across the Straits close hauled in 15-20 knts. We tacked up the channels towards Porto Palma before admitting defeat to a wind that was now bang on the nose in narrow passages and motored the last hour to our destination in time for ‘tea and biscuits’. Our overnight in Porto Palma was again comfortable, despite the wind changing 180 degrees in the night you are well sheltered other than from the south.
If you are sailing in this area you must visit Bonafacio. Despite the very touristy elements this is a great place to sail into.
