This was another return to a previously visited site but this time to meet up with a Sunsail flotilla (we normally try to avoid them!)
Dot and Steve who live near us were on holiday with daughter Issy and we had seen where the flotilla moors up on our last visit. We managed to anchor and tie back to shore in exactly the same place so, after a relaxing 24 hours, were in place to watch the flotilla come in.

They all managed quite well despite the attentions of an obnoxious Italian boat who was determined to lay his anchor out over all of theirs so he could reach the head of the bay. The Flotilla Skipper persuaded him to move on in the end (and was nicer about it than our skipper would have been!)
Dot, Steve and Issy came on board for drinks and then the flotilla had a BBQ on the beach whilst we relaxed on board; they were still going when we went to bed. Tea and toast was provided on board Splice the next morning to help the crew of ‘Hector’ wake up. Co-incidentally we had met a different crew on the same boat earlier in the year when Billy and Helen sailed her.
