Kakagito Bay, Cephalonia

C&C
With calmer times forecast we headed off to find a quiet bay to relax with no one trying to trip our anchor. After dismissing one bay, we found a small cove off to the southern end of Kakogito Bay where we were well sheltered, moored back to a small beach and there was space only for us! After swimming the normal lines ashore we were able to chill out for the rest of the day. A couple of swimmers came to the beach and a few cars passed on the track behind but it's a very pleasant place.
We read, swam to shore to explore and watched the goats clamber across the steep rocks. Chris had a strum of his guitar and we played some music to the cicadas who joined in enthusiastically. We will spend a couple of days here before heading across to Kioni on Ithaca which will be another crowded harbour but is supposed to be worth a visit.
