Packages Have Arrived - Back To Kilada

C&C
A couple of days later we had news that the windlass parts had arrived at the yard. We had a good sail for some of the trip around the peninsula and used the starboard engine for a bit of extra push when the breeze dropped off.
We stopped for lunch and a swim in a small bay north of Porto Heli just as you round the Cape towards Kilada. Nisos Korakonisa is tucked in with shelter from everywhere but the north so with the prevailing afternoon southerly this is a nice place to drop the hook for a few hours. With only one other yacht and a couple of motor things anchored back to the rocks it was a pleasant stop
Back in Kilada we collected Carolyn glasses and the windlass switches from Basimakopolous yard (marinas and yards that you contract with will normally receive and hold post and packages for you) and spent a few days waiting for strong winds to blow through the region. We met up with Adrian and Chrissie of 'Bonny Blue' again who had just launched from the yard and Mick and Sue of 'Operatix' who were anchored near us. A few drinks and chats were had in between the gusty bits.
We also celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary whilst in the bay and enjoyed a meal ashore after evening drinks aboard
