Today we paddled over to a beach on Bainbridge Island for a picnic. It was a nice break from boat work and really fun paddling around Eagle Harbor and laying out in the sun. It finally feels warm here (maybe 75 degrees). The view in both directions was beautiful -Seattle, with the Cascades in the background to the east and the Olympic Mountains to the west -all still snow-covered.
