Today I am 60!!! After opening cards and gifts we had a wonder around the market which is absolutely fab. Fresh vegetables, meat, cheeses, pastries to die for, as well as some seriously wonderful clothing stalls. Andy treated himself to an Italian mafia cap - and looks pretty cool I have to say! A walk along the sea wall followed by a snooze. Supper was booked for 7.30 at La Fushia and it did not disappoint. Superb food and the service was impeccable. We ate in the conservatory which was so typically French with painted murals and plants growing up the walls. Some of the clientele were very intriguing!! Champagne with Casis, a delicious bottle of red wine, lobster flambé (with the lobsters being presented to us live on a plate for our approval). Delicious desserts, with citrus flavours fizzing on our tongues followed by an exquisite cheese collection, coffee and Calvados. what a feats. What a treat. What a birthday.

Incident of the day: Not having tokens for the showers!!!
