We just LOVE Xerokambos. We have visited several times in Stiletto, anchored in the bay, swam in the crystal clear water, dinghyed ashore and enjoyed the hospitality of Lefteris and Evelyn at their taverna on the beach. Now we can return by car, visit the chapels and walk along the cliffs. But it is so, so different now. The taverna is closed down and protected from the Southerly storms, of which there has obviously been a few - and BIG - judging by the huge piles of sea grass that has been washed up along the shore. There will obviously be a massive clearup before the start of the season.
