Andreas, bless him, decided that we should hire a quad bike instead of a scooter to do our sight seeing.
He reasoned that it would be more stable and comfortable. He has subsequently apologised for making such a monumentally bad decision. What a heap of rubbish.
Despite my smiley face it was the worst experience of my life. Steering was a nightmare for him. The noise was horrendous for us both. As a passenger I felt like I was constantly going to fall off and for Andreas, the accelerator needeed to be ' one finger' operated and he has had cramp in his hand ever since. I had neck and shoulder ache for days.
