Greek Mainland - Thessaloniki 2- Halkidiki Peninsula

This is the Portos Canal. It is half a mile long and 36m wide. Like the Corinth Canal, it cuts out a lot of mileage if you are wanting to go west. Had we of done the Peninsula in Stiletto we would have gone through it. We were a bit concerned about the bridge height and depth of the water so we were absolutely thrilled to see a sail boat, about the same size as us, go through while we were on the bridge taking photos.
